Torah education at Tiferes Bais Yaakov is viewed as a way of life, as opposed to just a series of subjects to be studied. Torah education is regarded as a life-long process of moral and spiritual growth. At the secondary high school level TBY recognizes that it will have a significant and enduring impact on the spiritual development and maturation of its girls. As such, Tiferes Bais Yaakov endeavours to provide the girls with the information, skills, and direction that will be required for continued growth, study, and practice as Torah Jews. Students at Tiferes Bais Yaakov are regarded as individuals with unique personalities, issues, concerns, and learning skills.
Questions from our students are encouraged and respected. At all times, Tiferes Bais Yaakov strives to create an intellectually challenging academic program - limudei kodesh and limudei chol - within an atmosphere of caring, concern, and trust where each student can reach her full potential and capacity for absorbing a true sense of Torah and Yiras Shomayim. This is reflected in the way in which Torah values are inculcated into each and every student.
